Reviews on metahub are written by the people who use these artifacts. This page explains how they work, what we show, and the only grounds on which we remove anything — so you know exactly what to expect.
Anyone can leave a review. Sign in with GitHub and your review carries a “verified” badge; post as a guest and it appears unverified. Reviews are published right away and rated from one to five stars. Publishers can post a single public response to a review.
We do not edit reviews, reorder them, or remove them based on their rating or sentiment. A one-star review is treated exactly the same as a five-star one. We never write reviews ourselves, never pay for them, and never suppress honest criticism.
A review may be held for moderation or removed only when it contains:
These are neutral, consistently applied grounds — never the star rating. Moderation actions are logged.
If a published review contains personal information about you, ask us to remove it using the report control on the review, or contact us — we’ll take it down.
Every review has a report control. Flagged reviews go to a moderator, who decides whether to keep or remove them on the grounds above. Reporting a review you simply disagree with won’t get it removed.
